Prepare your analysis results as if they'll be forwarded on without context.
I tend to craft my presentations for a specific audience, but often I can't avoid people sending it on to someone else. To make sure it's still understandable to the next person, I:
- spell out acronyms the first time
- add definitions as footnotes or in a definitions slide (my stakeholder might know who our "key talent group" is but outside this interaction, the term could have a different meaning)
- provide "as of" dates where appropriate
I'm sure there are more things that help people analytics results travel well, but these are some that I come back to repeatedly.
